JP: Three Possible Tracks

What If – Bombay Bicycle Club – I had the Blues but I Shook them Loose

Because this song is quite upbeat, it would probably have a video with a fast cutting rate. It would be half split between performance and narrative, as the music is more prominent than the lyrics, meaning there would be little narrative to work on an any visuals would be unrelated to the lyrics. I believe it would be done in a similar style to the video for ‘No Waves’ by FIDLAR - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYbJmQj5VkE
Or it could be made similar to the video for ‘Tell me What it’s Worth’ by LIghtspeed Champion - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYKNZAN2KFE

Kasabian – Velociraptor – Velociraptor

Again, this song is quite upbeat and fast-paced, with fast lyrics. Therefore the music video would not really have a video that relates to the lyrics of the song, and instead would be performance based with the narrative completely unrelated to the song. It could maybe have a music video similar to that of ‘Red Morning Light’ by Kings of Leon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dv7vr6oE3U8)  performance-wise, however I believe the narrative would be an unrelated story, such as the video for ‘Call it What you Want’ by Foster the People (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1prhCWO_518)
, with the performance and narrative intercutting with each other.

Crystal Castles ft. Robert Smith – Not in Love -  Crystal Castles

I believe that the music video for this would be much more slow-paced than the other two, and the narrative of the video could correspond well with the lyrics due to them being easy to hear. The music could do well with a snowy or cold-looking environment for the video, as I believe it gives that impression. Due to the song being featured on FIFA 12, there could be some scenes of football as well. I believe the video could be done in a similar style to that of ‘Animal’ by Miike Snow - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVWeqAPQUXc&NR=1&feature=endscreen

Foster the People – Life on the Nickel – Torches

Lightspeed Champion – Faculty of Fears – Life is sweet! Nice to meet you.

The Strokes – Machu Picchu – Angles
